Router is a device which uses to transfer the data in a network in the form of packets. So Wimax router is that which transfer this data wirelessly in a network. But the speed of the transfer of data with the help of Wimax routers is much faster. Wimax routers use to deliver wireless speeds which are equal to the speed of direct line cable. It works with different devices like mobile phones, wireless TVs, any many Wi-Fi enabled devices

Multiple routers can be used in a single network, when this use to be done then routers use to exchange information about their destination addresses and with that they use dynamic routing protocols. As we all know that there are different networking protocols used in network, so to identify each one of them individually some software’s are introduces. These different computer software’s enable the data to be forwarded on the right protocol in a network.

Wimax routers use to protect the bandwidth by locking down the outside access to your data. Data and bandwidth is secured with the use of encryption method. This method make the secure transfer of your data and on your devices only. Wimax routers include firewalls as well. These firewalls also help in secure transfer of data. Another technology which is know as Network Address Translation (NAT) technology use to detect the traffic patterns of the hacker and then hide all of your devices on wireless network behind single IP address.
